1970 GTO “The Judge”
By the late 60’s the muscle car craze was coming to an end, stifled by rising insurance premiums and gas prices. This was Pontiacs last hoorah and was named after a catchphrase “Here Come Da Judge” from Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In. A very rare and desirable model today with less than 12,000 produced between 1968 to 1971.
In the last 21 years of Trevor’s ownership it has been upgraded with a 500 BHP 7.8 litre engine and 150 BHP Nitrous Oxide system, 6-speed manual gearbox, disc brakes all round, racing suspension and a host of mechanical upgrades. This car has been featured in numerous magazines and has also appeared in a Top Gear DVD.
