1947 Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan
This body design originally released in 1942 was suspended during WW2, production resumed in 1945 essentially unchanged. This car was discovered in the woods of Oklahoma where it had been stood since it broke down in 1958!
The patina you see is all original and is always the topic of much debate. Power comes from a Ford 2.5 Litre Turbo Diesel and has a Volvo axle and Jaguar front suspension, converted to right hand driver, to make a practical daily drive for Trevor’s wife, painstakingly re-trimmed in Bedford cord as it would have been when new, makes a great contrast of old and new.
